CALIFORNIA – First Congregational Church, an EA affiliated congregation in Buena Park, California is seeking a part-time Pastor for an historic church. The ideal candidate will possess the abiltiy to translate scripture into common everyday language, and the character traits and behaviors required for church leadership (Titus 1:6-9). Our next pastor will be capable of leading the congregation by example, energizing, and equipping the members to build Christ’s Kingdom. Furthermore we expect our pastor to demonstrate strengths in leadership and management skills and to be available for hospital, home, and condolence calls for our congregation when needed. The pastor will provide supervision to staff members, worship leaders, Christian education, and Diaconates. The pastor will be available for occasional evening activities as well as Saturday events, and will complete 20 hours a week to serve the church and its congregation. NORTH CAROLINAPleasant Ridge Christian Church in Greensboro, NC is seeking a part-time Music Director.  The PRCC Music Director is a salaried, part time position that is responsible for the overall music program of the church, initiating programs, arranging for rehearsals, special music, etc. The Music Director also provides piano accompaniment when needed. He or she works closely and cooperatively with the Pastor in planning music appropriate to the church’s liturgy and to the service. Music for Sunday morning worship services and other special events is discussed and coordinated with the Pastor prior to rehearsals. The Music Director works under the supervision of the Pastor in conjunction with the Music Committee. He or she must have an appreciation for the mission, values and theology of PRCC and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and encourage the spiritual growth in persons she/he works with and serves.  The Music Director plans the music for Sunday morning worship services, in coordination with the Pastor, arranges for choir or other rehearsals, solos, special music, handbells, youth programs, etc., and directs the choir on a regularly scheduled basis.  The Music Director will provide musical leadership for public worship and be responsible for and direct a graded choir program inclusive of all ages; young children through adult. Enhancement of congregational singing is a larger goal since the congregation is the real and greatest choir.  The Music Director is responsible for the music for the regularly scheduled special services, such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve and for special events such as the installation service for a Pastor, etc.  The Music Director orders supplies related to the church music program as necessary, maintains the music library, and is responsible for staying within the annual budget for the music program.

Tripp, South Dakota, is a rural community located ninety miles west of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. We are also thirty miles south of Mitchell and fifty miles northwest of Yankton. The nearest hospital is eleven miles north in Parkston with an outreach clinic open Monday through Friday in Tripp. We have a PreK-12 public school in our community along with volunteer fire department and ambulance, swimming pool, summer baseball/softball program for our youth, and a variety of businesses. The crime rate is very low in our area, making Tripp a safe and very desirable community for quiet family life.

TEXAS – First Protestant Church of New Braunfels is seeking a full time Senior Minister (http://firstprotestant.com ).  FPC was the first church in New Braunfels founded by German settlers after their arrival in March of 1845.  The church edifice is steeped in the old traditions including limestone block building, stained glass windows and hand carved wood furnishings.  Functions of the position include, but are not limited to:  Developing the ministry vision which sets the direction for church programs and missions; scheduling, planning and conducting worship services, holiday observances and celebration of the sacraments; providing the primary preaching presence in the Traditional worship services; acting as chief administrator of the church and staff with authority in all personnel matters; consistently conducting/reviewing staff and peforming annual staff evaluations of all paid staff members.  Other duties  include officiating weddings and funerals, assisting with pastoral care and visitation and advisement of First Protestant School.   Minimum requirements and qualifications include but are not limited to:  A visionary perspective for the church with an appreciation and respect for church heritage; Masters of Divinity or equivalent graduate degree in a related field; full ministerial standing with the Evangelical Association; minimum of 5 years experience as Senior Minister or Associate Minister with preaching responsibility.  Salary to be commensurate with experience and education and includes full benefits and housing.
