Founded in 1899, Immanuel Evangelical Church is a central hub of the Needville community. In addition to Sunday worship, Sunday School and Wednesday night Children's Fellowship and Youth Fellowship activities, the church sponsors a Leaps & Bounds preschool mother's day out program on Tuesdays and Thursdays along with a Friday night Christian teen night club ministry called Catacombs. The congregation also hosts the Needville Senior Citizens Center Monday - Friday, the Needville Community Food Pantry on Wednesdays, and Cub Scouts Pack #129 on Thursdays.
The church's current sanctuary was built in 1924, while the current educational building and fellowship hall was added in 2001. The campus also features a private playground for its' Leaps & Bounds ministry and a barbeque pavilion for the Men's Brotherhood.
The congregation affiliated with the Evangelical Association of Reformed & Congregational Christian Churches in 2016.

Dartball
Dartball is a church originated game that combines the game of darts with the rules of baseball. Dartball originated in the 1920's mainly among Lutherans and was used by church planting pastors as a fellowship opportunity to connect with folk in the community where they planned to plant a new congregation. Church Dartball Leagues became popular in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin and beyond.
Members of our church enjoy playing Dartball as an inter-generational activity for men, women, and youth. We will have a handful of men from our church on hand to teach the rules of the game and to play with participants in a friendly game of Dartball during the 3:00 pm Free Time on Saturday. Please sign up for Dartball during registration so we have an approximate number of folk to prepare for.
Catacombs Game Room
Convocation participants are invited to utilize our church's Catacombs Game Room during free times. The Game Room is part of Catacombs, our Christian teen night club ministry that is active on Friday nights.
The Catacombs Game Room houses a pool table, air hockey, ping-pong, foosball, and classic arcade games like Pac Man, Galaga, Burger Time, Zaxxon, Astroids and Dragon's Lair. The Game Room is also furnished with a number of cafe tables if you'd like a relaxing getaway to have a snack.
